By using our website, courses, subscriptions, affiliate program, or any Be Understood add-ons (together called “our Services”), you’re agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully: nothing scary, just the basics to keep things clear and fair for everyone.

1. Who We Are

Be Understood is an English communication training platform. We also run an affiliate program to help spread the word. Everything falls under “our Services” in this document.

2. Using Our Site & Services

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or have a guardian’s consent) to use our Services.

     

  • Please use our content for personal or professional growth, not for copying, reselling, or misusing.

     

  • Don’t use our Services to break the law or harm others.

     

  • We reserve the right to remove or restrict access if terms are violated.

     

3. Accounts & Payments

  • Subscriptions: Payment terms (monthly, pay-what-you-can, or otherwise) are explained at sign-up.

     

  • Trials: Free or “pay what you can” trials are for one-time use unless stated otherwise.

     

  • Refunds: Unless clearly offered during sign-up, payments are non-refundable.

     

  • Late or Missed Payments: Access to Services may be paused or ended until payment is received.

     

4. Affiliate Program

We love our partners and appreciate your interest in sharing Be Understood.

If you’re interested in becoming an affiliate in the meantime, please email us at hello@beunderstood.us

We’re happy to share current information and notify you once the program is fully active.

Once launched, participation in the affiliate program will be subject to additional terms, including eligibility, commission rates, payment schedules, and acceptable promotional practices.

We reserve the right to approve, suspend, or remove affiliates at our discretion.

 

5. Intellectual Property

All content, including videos, text, lessons, graphics, branding, and add-ons, belongs to Be Understood. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

We aim to provide high-quality Services, but:

  • We can’t guarantee results since they depend on your effort and circumstances.

     

  • We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages (like lost opportunities or profits).

     

  • Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us for Services in the last 3 months.

     

7. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if:

  • You break these Terms,

     

  • You misuse our Services, or

     

  • Required payments aren’t made.

You may also cancel anytime by following the instructions in your account.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert your location]. Any disputes will be handled in courts located there.
